The admission packet is from the admissions office. This would be a welcome letter from the president. It’s different. I’m getting one in the mail today too.
We’ve looked into SRD but she’s unsure if she wants to rush. Seems like a lot of girls from SRD rush. They do have a waiting list, but we’ll probably put in a contract.
D24 isn’t sure if she wants to rush either she just liked how clean the building was! And the location!

Any tips on how to connect with other guys for possible roommate for West Jester? My kid is ECE and a fencer and hoping to be near the engineering LLC there. We live near Austin. Or, any tips for better places to live? I’d rather he have a single room, but that’s not an option for on-campus housing. Castilian was recommended, but it seems so far from everything.

- Should we pick honors housing or Non honors housing, is there an advantage of one over the other?
- Looks like Honors housing options are far from McCombs school, is that an issue? do any of you know?
- Generally do kids room with kids from the same major or is it a mix?

- The only advantage is, your student live with other honor students.
- 40acres campus is small, all are not that far from McCombs.

Hi, it seems like a wave of acceptances (maybe all of the acceptances?) went out for the CNS honors programs this week. I was wondering if anyone had their status changed to “rejected” (or even deferred) in the last week or so as I have only heard of people seeing acceptances. Just curious.
My D lived in San Jacinto, which is down the street from McCombs. Jester E and W are also nearby options.
She didn’t room with any McComb students. Personally, I think it’s better not to room with other students in the same major. It diversifies your group of friends and social circle.
I received that president’s letter too today. Nothing really in there, but curious whether it sent to everyone admitted?

Do you know which CNS honors program sent acceptance last week? There are 3 Honors programs in CNS. I thought all Dean’s Scholars got the acceptance at the same time they received admission on Feb. 1st., but I could be wrong.
We toured SRD and got on the waitlist. RAs were super nice, loved the location and seemed to have good safety procedures.

Basically all of them sent some sort of wave of acceptances from what I can gather. Dean’s, HSS, and poly did send stuff out Feb 1 but it wasnt all of the decisions I guess.
