Anyone have a guess based off of previous years when the next wave will be? Tomorrow or next Thursday??? For OOS education major

Based on last years’ threads, I expect a wave any day starting tomorrow and by the end of next week. in 2022, it was Tuesday Dec 13. in 2021, it was Wednesday Dec 15. In 2020, it was Thursday Dec 10. They release decisions at or after 5pm. Most likely, next week though.

Yes my impression is that most receiving major acceptance got into their first choice major (including my son and his friend), but there are a few got capped for COLA majors (source: reddit).

The invitation does not say the stats of who is awarded. I did some internet research and found the information a few weeks ago. I don’t remember where I found it, but likely on the UT site.
Was there a “wave” earlier this week? There was a reddit post on OOS who got accepted to CS earlier this week.

DS just checked his portal, and he was admitted OOS, first choice major! He did not receive an email

I wonder if this is a beginning of the December wave. I just checked my son’s status and no decision there yet.
My son is also auto admit. No status yet.
same here - my son is also auto-admit.
I think my son was really surprised to see the update today. Ironically, he’s been admitted to 2 out of state public universities, but is also still waiting on his auto admit from our in state public school.
