Ohhhhh, these long weekends without my UTHopefulBuddies. Hope everyone is out enJOYing this beautiful Sunday. I know we are all looking forward to an answer, one way or another, so we can all MOVE ON with our one âwild and precious lifeâ as Mary Oliver the poet coined it. Life is indeed precious, and NO college holds that much power to make it that way. My kid and I already made a pact of how we will handle it (if opposite news of what we want) which is to look at each other, say, âHmmmfffhhhh,â have a family hug with our sheepadoodle, and go watch Princess Bride. Gonna treat it like having entered a raffle for a big screen TV, where some of the tickets were blown out of the container before the pick. Happy week to all of you, enjoy your day today, and be good to yourselves NO MATTER this weekâs outcomes. We all matter. This is a tiny speck of an event compared to the whole of our livesâŠand so many of you here have nearly your whole life ahead of you. Those of us whoâve been here a while can usually say life unfolds the way it unfolds, most of it is entirely out of our control, and resting the balance of it on one singular outcome is part of the follies of youth. (Just like breakups ; ) HUGS and HIGH FIVES for just being who you are and being on the launching pad of LIFE!!! If youâve applied to UT and embrace its mission, you are already a world-changer and are going to make this place better for us all, no matter where (or whether) you go to university.

That is a possibility. There is a good chance for any day this week but for sure before Thursday.
I wouldnât count on it.
Our school only reports weighted.

but the website for UT Austin says priority decision ().early action) will be out 1st Feb
Last year decisions came out a couple of days before Feb 1. My son heard back on Jan 30, 2023.

It is by 2/1. It will most likely be either tonight or tomorrow night based on previous trends.
Hard to believe that they are not doing making decisions at this point, but I guess some time in the next 3 days!
Is this just for priority kids or everyone? My daughter applied by the Dec 1 deadline.
