Yeah, on your tab?
UT needs to start manifesting those decisions already.
Iāll miss our little group here. Itās been kind of like being stuck in space together, waiting on Mission Control to bring us home and feeling like they went on vacay or something. Once we are āhomeā, I guess weāll just hug and wave goodbye, and say, āThanks for all the memoriesā? Awwwwā¦Iāll miss you guys! ![]()
I am not impressed with my alma matter. My DD has such impressive offers and personal interactions with amazing schools. At this point, if DD is accepted, I question UT.
UT handles so many candidates and they never said decisions would come out today. Why are you so frustrated?
Itās not so much the date, if they said for sure it would be tomorrow (2/1) at 5pm, we would be fine with that. Itās just the lack of transparency they have in the decision release date and just the overall admissions process at UT.
I get that. UVA and UGA are great examples of schools that do a great job with transparency. UT could improve for sure!
Just wondering if anyone here knows, but will UT release any merit-based scholarships with acceptance? What about specific schools like Cockrell? Iām an OOS applicant and I havenāt been able to find anything about when youāll be notified about merit scholarships.
I am not sure when this is released, but donāt expect much. UT is known to be very stingy with merit aid. If you havenāt already, look into the Texas Exes scholarships.
anyone elseās portal down?
nope
Wonder how they chose āBy Feb 1ā, rather than, no earlier than, or, ON Feb 1. Can we even assume it will happen by mid-night? They never specified time zone, soā¦.
Today is the day and by 5pm they will release the decision
The source of 5PM? EST OR CST?
I am curious why you feel this way. As long as Texas gives results today, they have kept their word.
Do you really expect a school the size of UT Austin to give white-glove, concierge-style treatment to every applicant?
Admission office yesterday said it will be released today 5pm cst
Did you call or was it posted about 5pm cst?
UT Austin is located in Central Time
I called them yday .
Thanks for calling and asking.
