Accepted and committed ! OOS, low unweighted gpa, high SAT but excellent ecs and essays! Take the world by the horns study abroad and accepted to second choice international relations (first choice was mccombs). Completely shocked I was sure I was going to be rejected!

hey i got a question. I was grateful to be accepted as a math major in cns back in february, but i recently joined the waitlist for ECE (just wanted to try). I understand that if I don’t commit by May 1, I won’t be able to join. However, will my waitlist still be active or will that also go away?
Is there a class of 2029 facebook parents page? Im in one but it only has about 400 people and another that has about 100. The page for my 2026 daughter has about 3000.
I don’t see a big one when i search Facebook.

Today , my son got the acceptance letter for Cockrell School of Engineering.We has lost our hope on it. Has Anybody been recently accepted ?

My son was accepted to Cockrell today too. He’s sticking with Georgia Tech (OOS to both).
