I did not get the email, but im still staying up because of the off chance that it can just appear randomly 
Apparently they are starting to load decisions. My son’s portal now says We’re currently experiencing high traffic on our site. To ensure a smooth experience, please avoid refreshing the page. It will automatically update as soon as a decision is posted to your portal.
It’s been like this for 3h, many people are checking. They put that up the day of EA release as well. They said I’m the email they would release in the evening and EA was posted also around 6pm EST so I don’t expect much sooner than 5 earliest.

We have that message too, but didn’t even get an email so who knows what to think at this point.
That is exactly what happened 1/15 before the ris/wio info showed up…went back and looked. That happened at 12:13pm on 1/15 and decisions came out at 415-430pm. So maybe they will be a bit later today as it is 2:24pm and there are many more to load up.

15th Jan Wave Trends..
3 PM CT - RIS started getting updated
4:30 PM CST - Status as well got updated to Accepted
Update email
5:20 PM CST - Recieved email from UT Austin on the status update
If the trend remains same today as well than you guys all set to start getting RIS updates in 38 minutes…

how do I access RIS? Can someone link it?
The “high traffic” message in the portal came at 12:13pm on 1/15 though so a bit behind maybe 2 hours later today.

Go to my.utexas.edu, log in, hit the triple line symbol at the upper right and the drop down menu will list registration info sheet(ris)

What will you see on the RIS page to indicate acceptance?
OOS…mine says “Your EID does not have an adequate assurance level.” Does that mean rejection?
you should be allowed to choose the semester and once you choose semester and click submit..you should see couple of section including advising information which will have your major..
Nope..it means your status is still not loaded..I had the same messages up until 3 PM..dont worry..

Once they upload the info, the RIS changed from basically “you have no adequate clearance for this page” to a page with a downdown menu where you can choose fall 2025 and then all your info pops up including personal info, emergency contact, registration holds, advising info (where you will see the major), and student health insurance plan info.
