Also still waiting in NJ. At this point, I’m wondering if our applications were even reviewed. Maybe there was a batch that was just lost. My daughter’s was submitted early October. It just seems like if they already had the decisions, and the delay was due to a technical glitch, they would have been uploaded today. Instead, we are looking at possibly another week, which leads me to believe they are yet to be reviewed. If there are only a certain number of EA acceptances allowed, that is bad for us. They have already moved on to reviewing the regular decisions, and we are just screwed.

I don’t know the number of students who have not heard but, anecdotally, it must have been a decent number because we know of quite a few people outside of this site who have not heard yet. So I don’t think that the applications were lost; they are just behind.

I hope they are not doing that. That would be terrible. The whole purpose of applying early action is to get your application reviewed and decision earlier than regular decision. Many students work really hard to meet those early action deadlines.

My daughter heard over the weekend she’s a finalist for Eminence (but a week after someone else was notified) so those decisions are coming.

I would (am) thinking to try to hold tight till Jan 31st. Seems like that is what the admissions office has said and that’s what it says online. It’s super disappointing that they couldn’t tweet, send out an email blast or post something on IG that said if you don’t hear by 1/21, you’ll hear by 1/31. Having gone to a large school, I have low expectations of them caring about individuals at this stage of the process.

I havent heard of many people hearing anything after Friday. Wondering if they will do one big push next Monday. They claim they are rolling them out, but I know many who haven’t heard.
