Agreed. I could understand a delay, a computer glitch, or any other reason the decisions didn’t go out. But I cannot understand the total lack of communication in a world where a quick tweet, mass email or Instagram post would suffice. .

Thank you for saving me the time. I guess it’s just keep checking until next week. I wish they would have just said 1/31 to begin with and surprised kids if it was earlier. TCNJ did that, said decisions wouldn’t be out until 4/1 and my daughter heard Friday night. So at least 1 school impressed us on Friday!

Many schools have had a delay in their decision letters, due to the fact their have been a huge increase in applicants to some universities. We thought OSU said 1/31. IS and heard today. Accepted.

FYI…I just got off the phone with the admissions office. They said “by the end of January” without any specific date or explanation as to why the rest of the EA decisions were not released on Friday.

Did they specify if students would be finding out decisions everyday up until the end of the month or are all of the students finding out on the last day of January?
They said they’d be “rolling out” decisions by the end of the month. Whatever that means.

If they need to do it this way, they need to switch to EA 1 (gets decision in December), EA2 (gets decision by 1/31)

I got my decision (admitted thank God) on Saturday morning (around 10ish), so I’m not sure if it’s a system error or if they just had a lot of applicants to get through.

Waiting. My guess is they are reviewing the regular decision applications and selecting from them first before admitting more EA.
