any movement for anyone? I know ucsb had a waitlist movement yesterday.
My daughter was waitlisted with similar stats as yours - (also Sociology), except for a few more APs. She has committed to another school but I’m still curious if she’ll get in - for a last minute plot twist.
If she committed to another school, would be best if you declined the offer right away to allow the school to work through the waitlist for those who are still counting on sdsu as their committed school
She’s still weighing her options with a few remaining waitlists. But we had to SIR to a different school to be safe. But yes, she has already withdrawn her application from all the other schools. (everyone on the waitlist should be sure to get a SIR deposit in to another school by the end of the day today).
Congrats to your daughter for having the other options! We also declined a few weeks ago. Good luck to all who are waiting for sdsu!
Ive also commited just to be safe but yes im so hopeful. Praying we both get in lol!

Your credentials are such that you have the option of being placed on a waitlist for SDSU admission. If you would like to exercise this option, please indicate your decision below by May 15. Being placed on the waitlist does not guarantee admission. Students on the waitlist will be notified in June if we are able to offer you admission.

My daughter just found out she was accepted off the waitlist this morning. From her portal - no email yet. Sociology. She has til June 15th to commit.
My son got off the waitlist today.

My son is construction management but has committed to Cal Poly SLO
Received an update today from SDSU:
At this time, your application is still being considered on our waitlist. Following our May 15 Intent to Enroll deadline, we began to assess the number of spaces still remaining in our class. We will continue to do so in coming weeks by monitoring the number of students who register for New Student Orientation and those who let us know that their plans for fall changed. This week we made initial selections from the waitlist and gave those students until June 15 to accept or decline our offer of admission. We will provide another update to you after June 15 when we have a better sense if additional space remains in the class.
