To be honest, there’s so many different people saying different things. Some people are saying they contacted people who work there and it’ll be out today, and others are saying Thursday. This one seems most likely because there was a record-breaking amount of applicants this year.

Just called and they said February decisions were delayed. Decisions will go out next week and will be definite. No waitlist or deferrals. Best of luck to all.

The “no waitlist” makes me doubt that post.
I looked it up on UTK site. I think they would have to change this page on the site if they decided not to waitlist.
Decision Releases
Mid-December | UT will release admission decisions for those who applied by November 1 and completed their application by November 15.
Late February | UT will release admission decisions for those who applied by December 15 and completed their application by January 19.
Many students not admitted in the first and second admissions release will be invited to join the Fall 2024 Waitlist or participate in UT Pathway Programs that provide a guaranteed entry point to UT Knoxville. I just called and they said by end of February

Agreed … not sure why people are taking a strangers word on Redditt? It’s going to be this week and at this rate , we are all clearly losing it 
I’m just gonna wait it out, two days maximum. There should be no reason to stress it’s not like I can control the decision.
I called and asked about a date, as well as waitlists. The man I spoke with said they do not have a set date yet, but it will be before Friday. He also said that students can still be waitlisted.
So is today ruled out?
I still wanna hold out hope but I’m just extremely impatient. But honestly EA day was the same way with the office saying different dates… I remember one guy told someone that it might have been mid January for EA and then they came out that same day
