What website?
I believe that is because that link leads you to provide more information after being deferred, and you can no longer do so.

Nevermind I see
This year application numbers are record-breakingāmore students than ever before want to become Volunteers. Your efforts contributed to the largest AND most competitive application pool in our institutionās history.
As shared earlier in the academic year, UTās Board of Trustees passed a new in-state Guaranteed Admission Policy in October 2023. In addition, our Admissions team has recently been charged with enrolling a first-year class with a larger percentage of in-state residence as part of our flagship, land grant mission. While we continue to look forward to welcoming outstanding non-resident students to our Volunteer family, there will be significantly fewer non-resident students admitted in the second release. We plan to extend invitations to join our waitlist to a large number of non-residents. We anticipate admitting students from the waitlist as space becomes available and we shape another incredible class of Volunteers. Additional details are included below. Please contact your UT Admissions Counselor with any questions.
REGULAR DECISION RELEASE
UT will release a second round of admission decisions on Thursday, February 29 at 7 p.m. ET. All applicants who completed their application and provided supplemental materials by the posted deadlines will receive a decision at this time, as well as students who received a deferred decision in December. You will be able to view your studentsā decisions in Slate.org within 24-28 hours. For more information about our regular admission decision release, please visit our admissions blog which will be updated later today.
Students will be notified via text and email to log into their Go Vols Portal to view their decision. Students will receive an admissions decision of either admit, an invitation to join our waitlist, encouragement to enroll in one of our unique Pathway Programs that lead to Rocky Top, or deny.

there will be significantly fewer non-resident students admitted in the second release.
Where did that info come from? Thanks for posting it!
i pray i get in but based off of that as a florida resident i donāt think so
Where did you find this?
Twin boys here and one is in EA and other waiting. It is not easy.
No because a person we know in 2022 did not accept the offer from UTK and it says left on date
Well I definitely do not have much confidence about getting in after that.

Just a thought, I was wondering through the UTK website until I found the decline admission link on the website, I clicked it and at the bottom where you would sign to decline admission it says āThe electronic signature certifies that you are officially declining your offer of admission to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and relinquishing all financial aid awards, housing options, and other program opportunities.ā
