So one counselor said 7 PM tonight and another said, when a decision is available?
My guidance counselor contacted the tennessee rep they are in contact with and confirmed decisions are tonight at 7.

So, I’m trying to figure out the directory thing. My kid was not in there but then I did a general search on “Smith” to get a sense of volume. There were only like 35 Smiths in all of the UT-K directory, which seems implausible (considering it is theoretically students, faculty and even recent alumni). My point is that I don’t think it’s necessary indicative of much on the negative side, but is likely a good sign on the positive side.

Our counselor said, “before the end of the week.” I think tonight.
That’s what I was thinking. Definitely don’t think it’s a bad sign for those who are listed but I also don’t think it’s 100% indicative of an acceptance or denial.

Not sure this means anything but did a search last night on the directory and found that my son’s name was there with a Net Id and email address but said he Left UT on 2/26, another kid from the same school who was accepted early ad but hasn’t decided was listed in the directory but active, another kid who was accepted early ad but, we believe, hasn’t made a decision was listed in the directory as leaving 1/3/24 and finally a kid who was deferred but was not in the directory.
Given all the issues UTK has had with their portal and with SRAR I am not sure any of what I wrote above means anything but thought I would pass along. Sounds like we will all see tonight.
After paying $50, waiting patiently over 5 months, and never contacting them before, UTK doesn’t have the courtesy to give me a time today?!

I might very well be crazy but oh well. I saw the go good portal banner last night because I was up late doing homework, and I know everyone in HERE saw it. Potentially that could mean something good??? I don’t know how IT works but is that like setting the page up for the real deal, we just see a place holder because it wasn’t time???

Well I hope they didn’t put packages in the USPS mail today because we do not have any package labels showing in informed delivery. Hopefully that’s not a sign like it was on EA release day.

Like they fixed the tell from EA release but in my mind, why is the banner needed if you don’t get in???
I’m guessing that they have grown smarter and made sure to release AFTER decisions. When I got into UC Boulder I didn’t get the letter and stuff until about 8 days later

I have the map. When I click on “our website” link on that page it shows “404 error page not found” Anyone else?
