OOS from New Jersey. Not sure what major they have accepted her for just yet. After she accepted the spot from the waitlist, they said those details will come with the actual acceptance offer in a few days.

Any one else have an elementary education major on the waitlist? Concerned for my daughter that the major is smaller and she may not get a call. We are in state but she was just below the 4.0

I committed to u of sc because of the chance I don’t get off the waitlist but would probably flip to UTK if I come off the waitlist

I heard more come off in May, after the deadline to accept but there seems to be no set time. My daughter has heard nothing. No text or email Asking her to confirm that she was still interested Has everyone gotten that? It seems like they send that text out and then likely those people get Offered a spot a week later.

Needless to say I don’t feel hopeful, I know it is still very early but it is hard to have help. I also feel like people with 26 and ACT have a better chance

Yea I went for a visit and thought it was rly good but my parents keep telling me to do what I wanna do and I would have so much regret if I turned down UTK if the opportunity arose so I’m very conflicted
