Got accepted on the Day, and time that the acceptances were released. Still no printed letter in the mail or box? We are out of state, but seems kind of weird no?
When did you hear about chancellor’s honors?
Did everyone that applied for honors college get an answer? My D did not hear anything since getting her admission acceptance and scholarship amount.
My daughter prior to EA sent multiple messages and called her admissions counselor with zero response. Now when she emails she just gets the exact same form email every time. Who else can she reach out to with questions? So disappointing
Tennessee sounds like they are having a lot of issues surrounding admissions.

What I mean by form email is that it’s just a generic response vs any answers to her questions. The fact that she tried contacting her counselor 4 times with no response is unacceptable

It’s definitely not ok, but it is what it is. Has she tried calling the main admissions number to ask her question/deal with whatever she is trying to contact her AO about? I would not send another email to the person who will be reading/re-reading your app.
Daughter received an update in her portal yesterday.
Son got an email saying he wasn’t a semifinalist for the Haslam scholarship. A little surprising for me. This effectively removes UTK as a choice. We both really enjoyed it but has less expensive choices he likes better. Good luck to all who made the semifinalist round.

IMO that’s a blessing - you don’t end up in a situation where he received a substantial scholarship to a school where he had others he “liked better”.

We received the box right before Christmas and the letter yesterday. We are in Florida.

Hi ! Does anyone know when those that were deferred will be hearing back ? We weren’t asked for additional documents or grades . We are OOS , high STATS. Thanks

In my portal it says late February for decision, and also to upload additional documents by January 19th.

My son got deferred, but just got something in his “just for you” tab for volunteer impact academy. Does any of this correlate with him getting in?
No. Everyone has that sadly.
