My sons never has showed the calculated GPA from the SRAR and he was accepted EA.

Deferred students for any school are defered to the RD round, so whenever those come out. Its not rolling.

This came up on my portal? reccomendation 1/17/2024 I havenāt submitted anything to common app or directly to UT since december 15th. I also have Smokey Dog as my counselor and had āadmitted majorā but blank and netID yesterday but now is gone?
D received transcript today from counselor.
Has anyone just uploaded the transcript to portal instead of updating SRAR?
I know they use that to calculate the gpa but not sure it would make a difference all her grades really remained the sameā¦
weāre in the same situationā¦ Iām going to do bothā¦ load them in SRAR and upload the grade report. Grades were consistent with GPA so donāt expect anything but it helps to remove doubt rightā¦not hiding anything. Still canāt sort out Smokey Dog ā¦ what in the world was that?

So I have Smokey Dog, UTK GPA listed but I still have the link to update my SRAR which I have doneā¦ Anyone else still showing the SRAR button who has updated their SRAR? This is maddening!
Iām still showing original counselorā¦ never changed over to Smokey Dog, but did see the Accepted major: Supply Chain Management a couple of days agoā¦

Anyone have a theory about Smokey counselor?
My theory is that perhaps they are having some staffing issues with counselors, are hiring some new ones, and put in Smokey as a placeholder until they know which counselor is actually going to be assigned.

If you right-click on the portal website and click on āview page source,.ā Then do CRTL+F and type in āAccepted.ā it will show this line: rules: {DECISION_ACCEPTED: ārequired,ā DECISION_RESPONSE: ārequiredā}."

is this static code for everyone or does it reveal an admit vs defer vs rejection?
I just did it and I didnāt have accepted or denied so I assume no. Unless Iām doing something wrong
I put in accepted and nothing and then put in the decision, and it came up with this. I am unsure how the other person did it, or maybe itās unavailable.
