I believe the in-state waitlist closed a couple weeks ago. So, guessing these are out-of-state students.
Some in-state students are waiting on appeals now, as far as I can tell.

Is it over for me guys? I think I was waitlisted cause I went test optional . I sent them my 1480 after I was waitlisted, but they donât take extra documents after application. Is a SAT score alone enough of a case on appeal? Iâm OOS.
My OOS son was TO,WL then got off the WL. Itâs never just one thing so I wouldnât dwell on that.

Yes, it would have been a very good idea to include that 1480 with the original application. Only mentioning this for other applicants who may read this in the future, but you canât change that now of course.
If you appeal, youâll need to make a separate case (e.g. a significant challenge you faced that wasnât discussed in your original application), but Iâd still attach the test result as well. They ask for your updated transcript, so senior grades matter, and you could attach the SAT score as a pdf along with that transcript file. Good luck!

Our S24 also got out of the waitlist 3 days ago (Economics). UW was his top choice OOS but he came out of waitlist too late :(. If he had gotten in even end of June he would have most likely accepted. Now he is set at different university oos also which is farther away and does not want to change.

Yes, he got an email that there was an update to this portal.
Thatâs the risk the schools take when they offer spots so late and the students have committed and gotten attached to another school. All the best to him!

Looks like whoever didnât get off the waitlist had their application status page removed from their MYUW website
I suspect universities would plan for a low yield rate from the out-of-state waitlists at this point, and plan accordingly. If they want 10 more students theyâd accept say 30-50 more (based on historical trends theyâd have).
Hopefully some good news on appeals soon too!
My child still has his application status button and has not yet been admitted off the waitlist.

Just wanted to give everyone an update. Iâm an OOS student that got off the waitlist on July 25. Theyâre giving me until August 8 to decide. Got in for pre-public health
