I’m instate and my appeal got denied so I had to fill out my waitlist form again 
Do you think they are going to start letting instate off the waitlist soon? Is there still hope?
On the official uw email that I got for the waitlist confirmation, it said may 15- august 1 but ik a lot of out of state people got in already so idk… Do you think there is a chance that they let in state people in before may 15?
@Pineapplelover33 Last year the waitlist notified people on May 13th, so maybe! I sure hope so, too, because I feel like everyone knows where they are going to college excpet me…
I am on the same boat as you. I feel lost and still don’t know where I really want to go for college. Let’s hope that alot of instate waitlist applicants get in.
What are your other options? Western’s enrollment date is now June 1st so thank goodness
Me too, I’m glad my other options have June 1st as their enrollment date. I will wait until the end of May to really make my final decision…
I joined the waitlist about a month ago… I still haven’t heard anything. I’m an out of state student but I feel like I’ll get rejected.

Hi! Did they accept you off the waitlist without an appeal?
They’re both great schools! I applied to both as well but something to consider is that UW’s graduation rate is around 84% for 6 years! That’s the thing that worries me!
UW is known for its weed out classes the first two years especially in competitive majors like engineering, CS, and business…so I’m not surprised haha

Has anyone contacted the admissions office to see when in state waitlist people will be notified?

hey guys, i already got admitted & am enrolled through appeal but i heard a few people got admitted from the waitlist today! i think UW is starting to accept off the waitlist

My mom was watching the news last night. UW has a HUGE accepted freshman class this year, expecting 7050 students in the fall. 4600 are in state. It is not looking great.
Last year’s class was 6,984, with 4,452 instate.

The Common Data Set for the year before reported an entering class of 7,096.
Dang…so if I’m lower on the stats I probably have no chance to get off the waitlist…
