UNOFFICIAL THREAD TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT NOT-SO-NEW CC SITE

I’m not sure if this is the place to ask but when I look at my profile I have a bunch of points… what a points and how do you get them?

<h1>MichiganGeorgia, on your profile it has 189 point. That must be the total of your 165 Likes and 24 Helpful Post clicks that you got.</h1>

Weren’t the ill-fated Greenies more fun? I wonder what can be redeemed with the points? Haha. And I wonder why this would be a useful feature?

I have to admit, this looks a little goofy:

<a href=“https://auth.collegeconfidential.com/module.php/hobsonspolicies/policy.php?policy=forumrules”>https://auth.collegeconfidential.com/module.php/hobsonspolicies/policy.php?policy=forumrules&lt;/a&gt;

I think the footer should always be at the bottom of the window.

Win 7, latest Firefox. I can mouse up to my profile without activating the dropdown if I move swiftly.

It’s really really hard to touch the little icons in the upper right corner on an iPhone. They really need to be bigger because all it does is touch on the drop-down box. It’s almost impossible to touch the icons.

CTTC - Thank you. It must be so we don’t have to do the math. :smiley:

Well, now the dropdown boxes are on 2 lines…

“hawwt?”

^ It’s to attract the youths!! :wink:

It’s smooth as buttah!

I’m sorry, but how is this not embarrassing to every single person who reads this board? Is it supposed to be some kind of post-ironic, uber-cool usage? Because I don’t care how old you are, a website claiming to be “hawwwt” is just plain dumb. Who thinks something is “hawwwt” because TPTB say so? Please.

Adults who use the term “hawwwt,” uncool.

It’s definitely cringe-worthy. I would’ve loved to be a fly on the wall when that phrase was decided.

Maybe it was meant to be so ironically not funny that it became funny again? (It didn’t work, but that’s the most logical explanation I can think of)

It was written by middle aged adults who think that’s how kids talk, except they don’t. Like in the early 70s when every TV show used “groovy” because the middle aged adults of that era thought that’s how we talked, except we didn’t.

This is how the college vibe/report page looks to me - can’t make that blue go away or get smaller. Once again, Firefox (latest) and Win 7.

Thanks for reporting the issue, @OhMomof2! Sending it over to the tech team so they can take a look and implement a fix.

Hi, I know that this probably isn’t the best thread to post in, but I really need some help deleting or extending the editing time for a post of mine. I’ve already tried contacting several mods, but neither of them have gotten back to me, and this thread seems to be filled with mods.

I would really appreciate any help you could give me.

If you look at the titles of the two threads immediately above this on in this subforum, you will see that posts are not deleted. You can post a follow up post to whatever it was you wanted to amend, but it is there for posterity.

When I click on a thread with only 1-2 new posts, this is exactly the screen I’m taken to:

<a href=“http://i.gyazo.com/619f11807964031ae4a5a35ce6d6a02a.png”>http://i.gyazo.com/619f11807964031ae4a5a35ce6d6a02a.png&lt;/a&gt;

I didn’t scroll down to see all of that. I clicked on a thread and can only see one post.

@jym626 If I can’t delete the post entirely, could I possibly edit the original post?
