UNOFFICIAL THREAD TO MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT NOT-SO-NEW CC SITE

Yesterday’s posts after a certain time (perhaps after new change was implemented) still say “Today @ …”

OK, big green check on above noted thread is gone.

***but shows up elsewhere randomly? on featured threads?

Thanks for reporting these issues, @DeniseC‌! We’re working on the timestamp issue, and are also looking into the checkmark appearing where it shouldn’t at times.

Now I just need my “mark all as read” button back… =)

Great updates. Still wish I could bookmark a sub-forum, hopefully that’s next…

Thank you. The time was “off” this morning but seems fine now. Love the time, date…and POST numbers! Thank you!

Thank you! Glad to see the popular and useful features have returned!

Now if they would only remove user names from the email subjects…

Have they squeezed out any white space from the page? I am still using my hack to reformat the page so I don’t see the real layout.

I’m accessing CC from my iPad and it keeps dating posts made today, 06/11/2014, as “Yesterday” even though it’s only 11:00 pm EDT.

ETA 11:05 pm: Even this post says it was made “Yesterday.”

Did that last night, too. And tonight, on my laptop.

Bookmarking forums and subforums? Sniff?!?!?! :-@

Well, here’s an interesting problem . . .

A month ago, in post #24, mentioned an issue with “Unhandled Exceptions” being thrown at me every time I hit the back key. The problem continued, and I eventually had a lengthy (PM’d) conversation about the problem with someone identifying himself as a “CCtech.”

Unfortunately, though, this particular CCtech has now gone silent. He hasn’t posted on the forum since July 14. He could be gone forever, or he may just be on vacation - it’s July, after all. But why, or why, is no one else picking up his messages in his absence??? It’s not as if they were particularly personal: I reported a problem, he said he’d look into it and to report back to him if the problem continued. Well, it’s continuing . . . but, in his absence, no one knows or cares.

Sorry, CCtech folks, but a forum issue does not disappear just because one of you goes on vacation. Handle your communications!!!

Interestingly, the high-tech CC team doesn’t seem to be able to fix the clock. Every evening, time flies backward and today becomes yesterday, despite the claims on the relevant thread that it would be fixed.

Let’s start a pool.

Something is not right about the like button, I can’t see who likes the button.

Do you mean that you can’t see who has liked a post?

The button is simply malfunctioning - one can’t “like” a post or see who has previously liked it.

I tried a half dozen times yesterday, including logging out of my browser completely, before I got it to work.

Meanwhile, I still can’t go “back” anywhere, not to a forum or even to a previous page in a thread, without landing on the “unhandled exception” page. Navigating the forum is now so cumbersome that’s it’s no longer worth the bother. I used to enjoy contributing to the forum . . . but that’s a thing of the past.

This is all so random. I can “like” posts, and see the drop down of who else has done so. And, for a change, I am not having difficulty moving around.

Why would this vary so much from user to user? That certainly should NOT be the case!

I can’t see the likes.

I can’t either. This started yesterday for me.
