Is it still acting up? It was acting up before it was featured, so I don’t believe “the flame” has anything to do with the oddities. Had this issue with other threads in the past. Probably more caching issues. Have you noticed others doing this?
It seems to be better today but some posts (2 of mine but others as well) are lost. They showed up on the listings but never showed up on the actual thread, which stopped dead at post 320 at 3:54 at the end of page 8, but resumed at the top of page 9 at 8:13 (eastern time). Other posts were made and listed with poster and time but never showed up on the actual thread.
Thanks for the information. We’re following up with the site host to see if those posts can be retrieved (and to see if such behavior can be prevented from happening again). Sorry about that! First we had issues with a wave in the space-time continuum messing up our timestamps and now we have posts being sucked into another dimension

I hit the link old mom…and got your latest post from this morning which was post 131. This was on page 9 of that thread…I’m using an iPad.
What’s with that? We have post numbers…but are we all seeing the SAME post numbers?
I think she meant post 120, as that is at the end of page 8. I’m also seeing 131 as being the last to appear.
Yes, sorry, 120 to 121. Pre-coffee posting. Big gap between the end of page 8 and the beginning of page 9.
Ha ha…yet even with caffeine I often make the same mistakes! I probably need to blame it on an aging mind more than anything

How can you unbookmark a thread. I must have accidentally hit it not known, now it’s very annoying to see it there.
Click on the yellow star. The star turns white and the thread disappears from your list of bookmarked threads.

I’m having log off problems today, both desktop and android phone.

So I created a thread and it didn’t bookmark it for me…what??
You have to click the star at the top of the thread so it turns yellow. It doesn’t happen automatically.
