My daughter’s portal also says “My UT Classes”. Maybe all applicants have this portal?

The MyStatus portal has tabs for Admissions/Honors/Documents for me…but no classes.
Is your daughter auto-admit (top 5% in Texas high school), already in the UT system for a program/class or applying to a less competitive school like Jackson school of Geosciences (which my OOS friend is doing)?
If you could post a screenshot, I’d appreciate it! Maybe’s its portal astrology.

Same status portal with just 3 windows but if use that link up thread to go into RiS, I can see “my classes” but it’s all empty. I don’t think there’s anything out there- just different interacting websites.
Maybe just a week or two before first drops. But I don’t think there’s any clues now.
The recent spring transfers (2 waves the last 2 weeks) reported seeing their majors listed in the Registration Info Sheet tab and $ in the What I owe tab the day before the wave hit. They abbreviate these RIS and WIO in portal astrology.

Yes! I have seen several posts for Spring 2025 in reddit - mostly transfers and the non-typical spring freshman. Small waves are happening since 10/29. Many (not all) are reporting the What I Owe and RIS glitches a day or two prior in their portals too. The UT Admissions reddit thread for UNOFFICIAL Spring 2025 Decisions has a link to the info those who respond to their survey are reporting. They were not supposed to hear until mid-December so that makes me optimistic Fall 2025 might hear in waves a bit earlier than 1/15.

Daughter received an email from Forty Acres scholars program. Email gave a link to submit essay and resume but the link doesn’t actually give anything to submit other than FERPA submission. Anyone else got the email from Forty Acres? If so, do you guys see a way to submit essay and resume? Thanks!

We didn’t. But I feel like he may have done this directly through the portal through the Texas Exes? Or maybe not through there but through the portal? Unless I am misremembering. No email to us.

Looks like they have a bug in the system. They are fixing it and let us know. If any of you receive an email from 40 acres and the link doesn’t have a way to attach essay and resume then try to reach them or wait until they fix the issue, do not click on “submit now” on FERPA without attaching resume and essay. Daughter thought that will send her the link to essay prompts instead the application was submitted, so just a headsup.

Just came on here to say it is 11/15….2 more months. This wait is excruciating!!!

Yes, they fixed the issue and now daughter can see the link to attach resume and a place to attach essay. This time when student clicks on “I am interested in applying…” tab page expands and giving student an option to add resume and essay.

I am wanting to bet a small one Friday 11/22 at 7pm (cuz last year it was 11/30 and the year before it was 11/16). I keep checking for the RIS WIO glitches….but come up BAD DATA 1000 every time.
