My twins had good stats and ECs, auto-admit, but didn’t get into McCombs. They were accepted to Mays back in September. Went to Aggieland Saturday the day after the sad news, and had a good time. Reserved the A&M New Student Conference today and paid the acceptance fee. Gig 'em.

Not that I’ve seen or heard.
But curious as well.
a few were reported on jan 22 on reddit - seemed like a very small number and possibly all in state- but unclear

i get it and i’m so sorry! I feel for you and your hardworking daughter! My OOS son was denied and his grades (13 AP’s) and scores and EC’s were excellent - far above reported averages. He is so discouraged! He worked through several real challenges in high school ( though i must admit your daughter’s challenges were tougher). He’s wondering what else he could have done? I have no idea how to answer that. We are going to have resilient kids!!
