No more 10 character minimum to post

dheldreth, I just checked. Get to the Professional & Graduate forum; there is a subtitle Pre-Med and something or other. It got me to a list.

Oh just virtual delete my post. No, threads don’t open. Sorry.

The topic under professional & graduate forum is pre- med and medical school. That brings up a list. On that list is pre- med topics, and when you click that, you get “page not found”

dheldreth, I agree with you. The link is broken.

The problem is: To whom can we send the “complaint”, in order to get this fixed?

EDIT:
For questions or assistance, please post here or send us an email to admin@collegeconfidential.com!

Another complaint: The new GUI design uses the screen estate very inefficiently as compared to the old CC’s design. A lot of empty space. i do not like it.

Also, if I use my smartphone (iPhone), I can not get to the last page of a thread with one click. This means that, unless I use a real computer, I will likely not use CC. It is too difficult to get to the last page of a long thread.

It appears we can no longer delete our post, even immediately after the post.

Clicking on the dimmer screen key on my Mac helps with the Whiter Whites! background color, but also makes the print harder to read.

Also, when you type in the box, you type right over the emoticon symbol, or rather the emoticon symbol sits in front of whatever you type.

I’d be happy with the emoticon option going the way of Mr. Paperclip. And the Facebook option going the way of MySpace.

The first post in this link tells us how to report a problem:

<a href=“New Year, New Look for College Confidential! - College Confidential Community - College Confidential Forums”>http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/community-forum-issues/1608587-new-year-new-look-for-college-confidential.html</a></p>

For questions or assistance, please post here or send us an email to admin@collegeconfidential.com

What are all the posts that come up first under “latest posts” with the word announcement written in red? What are they announcing?

I just clicked on some members’ names and avitars, and was able to read their private messages. I was able to see these without logging in. Ack! Major problem!

^^^^Those aren’t PMs but “visitor messages.”

SnLmom: Nice dog. Sheltie??

I would like to know why Rockvillemom has stolen my dog!

I guess since we can’t delete we can edit posts by typing in something like “This was deleted”

Deleted this post. This is a test.

I don’t understand the FB function. I guess if we never signed in under FB and don’t use the FB function to post ours or any one else’s post, it won’t link to FB?

VeryHappy - Thanks. Yes, she’s a sheltie. Love your Aussies.
The dog avatars are my favorite.

VeryHappy, thank you for identifying what I was seeing.

Pizzagirl - glad to hear you have such a great dog! Post a picture. as your avatar. Otto was a schnoodle. Actually died this past week after a long fight with lymphoma.

OK…opinion here. This new format roll out has no “wow” factor. I don’t hear anyone saying “wow…this is terrific, and such an improvement”.

The only “wow” comments are about the pictures of dogs.

It seems one of the main ideas with the revised site is to integrate CC with FB, which, in my opinion, is completely contrary to the “confidential” aspect of CC.
