<p>I’ve probably missed the post but how do you find your private messages now. I don’t see them when I click on myself. I’m so confused.</p>
<p>Another thing to kvetch about. When posting a link, I couldn’t just do - <a href=“http://www.whatever.what”>www.whatever.what</a>, I had to add the http// in front of it. </p>
<p>And why does that emotion symbol show up in the upper right corner of your reply box so that you can’t possibly see the 3 or 4 letters beneath it?</p>

<p>I actually like the dropdown list when you click on the favorites star in the upper right corner, except that the ad banner sometimes goes on top of my list. I would obviously prefer that my list cover the ad banner instead. :-< </p>
<p>I also miss the ability to view past posts of a poster. Sometimes those past posts clarity an issue being presented. </p>
<p>thumper - After you click on the user’s name, you can see their past posts by clicking on ‘replies’ on the upper left of their profile. Is that what you were looking for?</p>
<p>You can, but it’s an extra step - for what purpose? The only reason to click on someone’s name is because you want to see their past posts. </p>
<p>I also find that seeing what page of a thread you are on is very difficult. It’s a very subtle shading. </p>
<p>What NJRes posted - (and I know it’s in jest, but using as a jumping off point) - is part of the problem of the type of forum layout that CC has moved to. If someone does insert a picture, it will be huge. </p>

<p>Nope. IMO this is a definite step backward. As I posted somewhere else (too hard to find where), this reminds me of another forum I belong to. My opinion of that one has always been “low-budget” and “cheesy.” </p>
