Does anyone dare peak over in the high school forum to see what the youngins’ are saying?

So far, I have no issues with the posting format. To be honest, not much change there. What is annoying is the additional layers needed to do other things. I finally found the PM thing. And I figured out that the little star on your post is for edit. So why couldn’t the word “edit” be there? I cannot find sent PMs.

Nice that you don’t have to wait 60 seconds to make another post.

I miss the drop down when you clicked on a screenname. It was much easier to look at other posts, send a PM, etc. now there is a whole new layer to go through for these.

I don’t really give two hoots about Facebook or twitter, and have no intention of linking to either. I don’t care about the “like” button either. I don’t care about the dancing emoticons.

I’m hoping some kind of color or border will be put on the pages for ease of reading.

And I hope they fix the iPad application!

Thumper, the sent messages are in with the pm’s you received. It’s like a thread conversation now.

For a brief moment I saw an item under the “My Threads” on the upper right with a number next to it (it disappeared now, can’t remember what it was called – maybe “Responses”?). Anyway… when I clicked on it, it showed all my posts going back a long ways. Perfect… but then it went away. Hoping it will return, it was what we used to do by going to our user names and seeing all posts by ourselves.

Actually, once I find my PMs, that should be easier to follow. I did not like seeing someone’s reply to me without knowing what I had said to them!

ETA: Ooooooo, now we have an hour to edit!

You click on “replies” on your profile page to see all your posts.

So ---- ummmmmm – where are the PMs?

VH, click on your name, and then on the left side of the page is Inbox. Voila.

In your inbox. Click on the envelope next to your user name on top right of page.

Where are the medschool threads? I know where they aee supposed to be, but when you click on it I get a “page not found.”

^^^^same here GAmom

Why is “Access denied” on my iPhone? It says the “forum is currently not available.” It hasn’t been available for several hours. Do I need to delete the app and start over?

I liked that I could click on someone’s name and immediately find their posts. Now, I get taken to their profile, which typically has blather on it by people who didn’t realize they were posting publicly versus sending a PM, and then I have to search replies. Any way of making it one-click again?

Also liked the functionality of seeing (via the star) threads I’d commented on and the ability with one click to pick up where I left off. I don’t see that - am I missing something?

I want to change the size & type of font.
Serif is much easier to read for me.

“My Threads” seems only to be any thread I started. Somewhere Roger said they are working on the iphone issue. The one neat thing about all this is how fast we all spring to offer some answer- a real digital age phenomenon in the digital world/community.

Med school is apparently under Professional.

EK4 - Where do you change the size and type of font?

How do,you delete PMs? It looks like all of my previously deleted PMs are back in my inbox! Is there no longer a limit on these?

No limit? Hmmm… that particular item would be an improvement!

Pizzagirl - It seems that once you have viewed the most current post of a thread, the background of the thread changes from white to very light blue on the thread list. If a new reply is the posted, it will change back to a white background and a small gray box will appear under the ‘favorite star’ with the number of new posts that you have not read. If you click on the time stamp under that most recent poster, you will go to the first of the new posts that you have not read.

I have not figured out how to see which threads you have posted on … formerly the red star.
