My D22 received in the mail today her National Buckeye scholarship. We are in Illinois. She was admitted on Dec. 10th, and OSU Honors a few weeks after that. She is still waiting to hear about the Morrill Scholarship. If she gets that, the oos tuition might move OSU close to the top of her list.

We are IL, too! Praying mine get the Buckeye at minimum. Is that $13,000 OOS? That would help significantly! At least make it closer to the cost of UIUC!

Our daughter, in-state, also received notification of Morrill yesterday to her regular email. She was accepted in January.

And my son got $16,000 in merit and no honors or scholars so weird.
We went to admitted students day today. They said they had 71,000 applications. A record.

My daughter was admitted in December still has not heard back from Morrill or been offered any other scholarships. OSU is her top choice but without scholarships, it may not be feasible. I’m trying to hold out hope but the more and more I hear about others receiving scholarships and getting into the Morrill Scholarship program, the more I am losing hope. It’s a shame because she would have been such a great fit for that program. Does anyone have any advice?

I was admitted to OSU in December, and received notification that I got the Morrill Excellence Scholarship early January through my personal email. I’m an in-state student. Happy to answer any questions.

My D22 was also admitted in December and hasn’t heard anything regarding, scholars program or scholarships. We’re in state.
