Can anyone give insight into the appeal process for a student who applied to main campus OSU and was offered admission to regional Newark?
the link is to the application in the email to the studentās osu.edu emailā¦this is if you already paid the $100 fee to accept your admission offer.

Dpease - As insane as it is this year with # of applications, I would be surprised if you can appeal a Newark to main campus. If you are able to submit an appeal, update what you find out. A couple of my sons buddies were accepted to Newark (instead of main) and were bummed about it.
My friends daughter just got her email that she received The Morrill Scholarship for those still waiting.

Do you know what time and date she received her scholarship letter? And was it through Buckeye email or personal email?

I did report it to the news media. Nothing came of it. And Iām not surprised because OSU has done everything in their power to hide this mistake. They removed peopleās comments about it on several of their Instagram posts for instance.

My D22 was one of the late date deferrals. She was accepted to every other school except U-M where she was also postponed. As a first time parent in this process- I learned two things. If you need merit $- an EA deferral is the same as a rejection. But more important- they will end up at a school that is a better fit for them. Best of luck to those where OSU is the best fit for them- my D22 has withdrawn her application in the hopes it will mean a decision handed to someone sooner rather than later.

Talked to someone who received morrill today, they got it Sunday at 6:30pm

No there have been a lot of Morrill recipients on here. I know they have said the students will hear either way, but I havenāt heard anyone on here say they got a rejection letter. Are they maybe waiting until the end ?
Pretty sure they wait til the end of March to send rejections. They said theyāll tell you either way
Well, it looks like if my kid goes there, we will be paying full price lol. When I called, they said as soon as they review your application, they send the rejection or the approval right away. That doesnāt seem to be the case. I have heard of no rejections so far. Have you?
Nope, however I went on last years thread for morrill and one girl said she never got a decision and she called and they never got her app! Not saying thatās the case here at all, but I think maybe they send the email and it actually gets through Friday??
