EA, deferred, denied from Columbus, offered regional campus Mansfield. Think I’ll be moving on
EA deferral. Just showed denied. Son 22 really wants Ohio State. Is the wait-list option or appeals option open at all?
From my knowledge, OSU does not accept decision appeals and/or does not ever reverse decisions. I could be wrong !
Was the email you received sent to your OSU email? or regular personal email?
My regular email.
Has anyone else received the Morrill this weekend ?
Not sure about here but I have seen several people on social media that have gotten it.
Today ?
Yesterday
LOL! Mine is still in Disney and has not told us if he got in or not. I am enjoying the ignorant bliss of seeing him & his friends having THE BEST time, but I’m VERY curious what the verdict was…
Hoping he has a great trip and comes back to some great news
Yep. Daughter accepted admission to another school on Feb 8 before this decision even came out. That’s how excited about OSU she was.
My son was part of the 1/25 deferrals, also waitlisted. I think they did our kids a huge favor, it just wasn’t fun while it was happening. I hope your son finds himself happier than he could’ve imagined wherever he goes.
Waitlisted. Oddly, I’m at peace with that. I’m happy he didn’t get rejected and I’m happy that he committed elsewhere last week. Best of luck to your girl!
My daughter is waiting for two more before she commits, but I’m so looking forward to having this over with. Good luck to your son. This process has been terrible, but made so much better by the kind parents
My son was accepted on Friday 3/25. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for financial aid package information to get posted to his Buckeye Link account?
Was he placed on the wait-list or did he ask to be on the wait-list?
He was placed on the waitlist-he recently committed to another school. I have him going through and declining his acceptances to open up spots for other people.
Can you ask to be put on the wait list at school that did not waitlist you on their own? Do you write a letter to the admissions contact still stating your interest? Is that what you are saying?
Yes. Specifically at Ohio State. We did send in a note to be on the wait list. My son was declined. Does Ohio State place kids on a wait-list as one of their processes. If so, then us requesting to be on the list is actually lower in potential to be finally accepted.
