Yes I assume that… .emailed her on 19th at 730pm but sure she got buried with emails and phone calls…but also never even got an out of the office response and still absolutely nothing from anyone or the school in general regarding the entire mishap.
Not only that but there was a free week to apply to UTK and I know a lot of people applied during that week.
D accepted into pre-med but we did not hear anything about honors college application. Does anyone know when an acceptance or denial comes out?

My son received an email about that decision. It was not in his acceptance letter.

Our 7th semester ends after Jan 19th but site seems to imply we need to submit semester before Jan 19. What do we do?
It’s a small orange box that says “Next Stop ROCKY TOP” on it. Opening reveals a cute card with Rocky Top orange that you open and it plays the song. A couple of sticker and confetti also. Really cute for the kids to get them pumped up. It does not contain any information on tuition or anything. It’s just a congrats on admission package.

The student should contact their AO via email and ask and/or call the main admissions number after the new year. The student should also speak with their HS counselor to figure out a plan.

I 100% agree with you … I think they are covering themselves . We know several who should have gotten in and didn’t and those who had issues got in the day after and their stats are nowhere near the other kids . Either way I hope the kids are pumped and enjoy the fun ahead . Such a great time for all the kids !

Disappointed. DD has been seeing the “box” all over social media and was so excited to get hers but instead got a regular orange envelope with her official letter, a pamphlet about becoming a member of the UTK family, and a folded poster of Smokey. Maybe there are two mailings? Anyone else not get the “box”?

The box is separate from the envelope mailing. Hopefully your daughter’s arrives tomorrow. My DD got them both today and they were super cute!

Good to know. I hope we get TN and Clemson after the holidays. Our post office is not the greatest and every piece of mail goes through Atl since we live in GA and Atl is always a mess!

If we enrolled and paid a housing deposit at another school that accepted a student back in October can we also enroll at Tennessee or do we have to cancel the other school first. We plan on canceling, but there’s no option to do so on the portal and have to wait till the admissions office opens back up again.
Not if you used the common app. You sign and agree you will only enroll in one school. So you’ve got to cancel one and enroll in the other.
