When you type Accept, does it show the Tennessee Transfer Pathway? 
If you right-click on the portal website and click on ‘view page source,.’ Then do CRTL+F and type in ‘Accepted.’
We see that verbiage as well … what are your thought on that ?
Did your admission counselor change to anything a couple of weeks ago? Some changed to Smokey the dog. Others changed to another random counselor.
Jumping in here, but ours has remained the same the whole time … getting deferred in the first place was shocking to begin with quite frankly with our stats ( not to sound braggy)
We know lots of students are in the same boat

I just did it and mine said this as well. Kindve weird because I had admitted major filled out a couple weeks ago

If you actually look at the very bottom of the website it’s the exact same verbiage. I don’t think the trick works. Someone said it only works within hours of announcement

Based on past year’s when might we hear this month on regular decision for those deferred?
our q2 grades are still not finalized. I doubt that UTK will look at them given their previous Jan 19 date (since removed). Will update the SRAR soon, but I wonder if it’s futile? Thoughts?

yes, by 1 day. Teachers have 2 weeks to finalize grades
Hi! Update them! Doesn’t hurt. Also, never hurts for your son to email their area admissions officer and ask.

checking once a day, but would be disappointed to see a WL or denial after the “Admitted Major” reveal… didn’t see the Smokey Dog counselor name appear or the confetti…
just want some closure to this drawn out ordeal… visiting State College PSU over Pres. Day weekend. blue and white school is winning at the moment … could be replaced with the scarlet and grey one if they say yes in RD … all in all, I feel like we’ve gotten the best possible outcome given the OOS competition.

I looked back on last year’s thread and it looks like decisions came out around Feb 22

Anyone else noticed that at the top of portal “Application Status” changed to instead of Awaiting Decision now it has Awaiting Materials and there is a spot for High school transcript with a red X.
D didn’t update SRAR but last month she uploaded unofficial transcript to materials section.
Emailing counselor to send transcript!
ours still says awaiting a decision. We updated SRAR a little while ago

I just checked the portal and we have that message too! I just emailed his counselor to get this taken care of ASAP!! We were told by his counselor that he was required to self-report his first trimester grades by updating the SRAR but that the school wasn’t required to do anything. I see now that she was wrong.

Do you have to include 7th semester grades if you were deferred? I thought it wasn’t mandatory but you could if you thought it would help your application. If the 7th semester grades are similar to what has already been submitted then I wasn’t sure if we had to or not.
Yes. Deferred are supposed to update SRAR with the fall grades but D never did and just uploaded her unofficial transcript with the grades on there.
So now portal is asking for the transcript assume because her SRAR was never updated.
Is there somewhere to change major in portal?
Ours is still Awaiting Decision. DD updated her SARS last month and also had an updated transcript uploaded last month. So maybe the change for some is due to UTK application reviewing team being in the final stretch w/ the EA deferred pool review and is trying to ensure everyone gets in updated info if they haven’t yet.
